Who is Our Costume Cupboard for?

Our Costume Cupboard is designed for UK primary schools, including class teachers, teaching assistants, drama coordinators and school offices. All items are chosen with school use in mind.

Do you sell individual items as well as bundles?

Yes. You can purchase ready-made costume bundles or individual items, depending on your needs. Many schools use bundles for whole-class productions and individual items to top up existing stock or adapt to different class sizes.

Are the costumes washable?

Most items are machine washable or can be wiped clean.

How does sizing work?

We use a simple Small / Medium / Large sizing system designed for schools.

Sizes are based on broad height and age ranges, rather than precise fitted clothing sizes. This makes costumes easy to share, store, and reuse across different classes and year groups.

  • Small: approx. 105–120 cm (Reception–Y1)
  • Medium: approx. 120–135 cm (Y2–Y4)
  • Large: approx. 135–150 cm (Y5–Y6)

What about sizing for bundles?

Bundles are designed to work for mixed-age classes and usually include a balanced mix of sizes or flexible items that fit a wide range of pupils.

Items are selected to be flexible and classroom-friendly, rather than fitted to individual children. Where possible, designs are suitable for a range of ages and can be layered over normal school clothes.

Are the items reusable?

Yes. All products are chosen for durability and repeated school use, helping schools build a shared costume cupboard that can be used year after year.

Can we reorder the same bundle in the future?

Where stock allows, yes. We aim to keep core items consistent so schools can top up or replace bundles over time.

Do you offer discounts for schools or bulk orders?

Pricing is kept as low as possible for schools. If you are looking to place a larger order or have specific requirements, please get in touch via the contact page.

Can schools pay by invoice?

At launch, orders are placed and paid for online. Invoice and purchase-order options may be introduced in future as the range expands.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery times are shown at checkout and may vary depending on the items ordered. Orders are packed with school use in mind and delivered ready for use.

Can we return items if there is a problem?

Yes - if something arrives faulty or incorrect, just email us within 14 days and we’ll help. Full details are on our Returns & Refunds page. 

Can we contact you with questions before ordering?

Yes. If you’re unsure which items or bundles are right for your school, please use the Contact page and we’ll respond as soon as possible.

Can parents order on behalf of school?

Orders are intended for schools, but parents may purchase items if requested by their school.
